Description

In a storm VNT / VGT, the exhaust flow through the turbine wheel is controlled by a row of blades that move to meet the exact thrust requirements of the engine. At low engine speed, the variable nozzle turbine blades move closer together to limit the flow of exhaust air through the turbine, thus increasing the power of the turbine and increasing the pressure. At higher engine speeds, the movable valves open to maximize the flow of exhaust gases, thus avoiding turbo over-speed and maintaining the boost pressure required by the engine.

VNT turbos contribute to higher torque levels, particularly at low engine speed, and help deliver more power over a wider range, better acceleration through better transient response and cleaner combustion. *@ Garrett di Honeywell

VNT Td5 CRturbos are designed to run with a turbo boost box (included in the kit) or with a wider range map sensor (provided at an additional cost). When paired with the correct map we supply as part of the kit, they could bring the td5 to approx 230bhp and beyond 500 nm of couple a 1,7 push bar e 250bhp e 580nm couple a 2 push bar. – depending on how healthy the engine and fuel/injection system are.

We highly recommend installing a high flow air filter, AlliSport silicone hoses and upgraded AlliSport intercoolers to get the most performance out of this setup.

All turbocharger installations require new engine oil and a new oil filter. We do not offer a suitable service and only supply turbos.
