Description

The POWERspec is the next level, ideal if you use your Land Rover as a workhorse. If you regularly tow or carry any extra weight like shipping trucks do, this is the specification for you. It will handle highly tuned road monsters or hard-working off-roaders all day long. If you want reliability and driveability from your mapped engine, POWERspec will keep you going! (The weight of the pedal is similar to a Defender TD5, slightly heavier than our TDI kits)

The TGV kits can cause vibration of the gear if the gearbox is worn (a lot of play) It is recommended to use the R380 gearbox using MTF 75W90 with a higher viscosity to avoid gear vibrations. (Stronger springs in the driven plate can reveal the symptoms of a worn gearbox, but necessary to 100% for high-power TDI engines!)

The International HS engine 2.8 is a higher capacity version of the 300 Tdi, still uses the simplicity of the 300tdi but with more power and significantly more torque. L’HS 2.8 comes standard with a VNT turbocharger and a suitably upgraded fuel injection pump, these, in combination with the extra engine capacity, produces 135bhp as standard with 277lbf ft of torque at 1400 giri/min.

These engines are equipped with remanufactured 300Tdi cylinder blocks redesigned to 2,8 with a VNT turbocharger fitted. The motors produce the same power and torque as the standard International HS motor 2.8 TGV, all engines include the following NEW parts, header, injectors, injection pump (reconditioned), crankshaft 2.8, connecting rod 2.8, pistons 2.8, distribution box, cover timing, gears, distribution kit, water pump support, water pump and all seals. The engines are complete with NEW alternator, power steering pump and vacuum pump.
