With an excursion up to 16″ the Terrafirma Air shock offers ample axle travel for even the most extreme off-road competitors. The ride quality experienced with the air shocks is exceptional, combined with Terrafirma hydraulic shock stops obstacles and extreme terrain can be attacked like never before.
The Terrafirma Air shock absorber has a diameter of 2.5″ (66 mm) and uses a massive 1.625 highly polished hard chrome piston rod″ (40 mm) with latest technology valves and seals. The air shock absorbers are charged with high pressure nitrogen, factory set a 150 psi and adjustable between 100 e 400 psi depending on vehicle weight and preferred ride height.

Terrafirma Air shocks are designed to be mounted vertically with the shaft down for optimal performance. The performance of the air shock absorbers can be fine-tuned to precisely match a given application by adjusting the oil volume and nitrogen pressure. For the Terrafirma shock absorber we assumed an average setting based on vehicles between 2000 e 3000 kg.
