Description
The Chromoly Dog-Legged tie rod for the JK Jeep Wrangler is an additional force to replace the vulnerable stock tie rod.

Exclusively for MetalCloak this tie rod comes with double articulated ends from 1 “dog-leg forged and heat treated from 1 ton that have strength and offer space for use with stock or aftermarket wheels and provide a full turning radius. The ends of the MetalCloak dog-leg rod control the flop of the tie rod providing better performance. they are sealed with grease caps to prevent the entry of debris and lubrication. The adjustable tie rod can be adjusted while installed on the vehicle for fine tuning.
The adjustable steering stabilizer mounting bracket with 3/16 '' hot rolled steel plate″ for heavy duty it is installed on the rod tie rod and repositions the stabilizer upwards and out of damage; the mount is designed for aftermarket steering stabilizers.
The optional billet holder is a two piece aluminum design, it is simple to install and allows you to position the stabilizer for maximum performance. Finished in black anodized with a “M” laser engraved around recessed bolt holes for a clean, personalized look.

Making a tie is easy, but we don't do it easily; we have chosen the normalized wall pipe 4130 Chromoly 1.625 ”OD .375” which can take a beat without breaking (97.200 pounds per square inch).

Anti-flop function
This specially designed stem end is specially designed for JK Wrangler steering.
Full side-to-side range of motion ensures free steering when pushing the extremes of travel and articulation of your Jeep, while a limited range of motion “front to back” it is integrated into the end of the rod and eliminates the possibility of offset to allow the tie rod a “flop”.
